- Kristian Hammond. CTO Narrative Science and Director of Northwestern University's Intelligent Information Lab. I work on the automatic generation of content (stories, reports) based on data, search and the extraction of information from textual sources. Narrative Science focuses on the transformation of data into stories with the goal of creating content at scale. We work with media companies to create stories that they are often unable to produce because of resource and logistical limitations. Our goal is to not only produce new content from existing data but also treat the entire world of human readable information as potential data sources that can be mined for new stories and new types of content. I am also part of the team driving the Knight News Innovation Lab at Northwestern.
